We are aware that many of our customers have been wearing our Freesize35 lounger as a nightie – and indeed, why not, we have always boasted of the lounger’s versatility. However, some women prefer a lighter fabric for bed wear and manufacturing a nightie has been on the ‘to do’ list for the past three years. So, at last, after many emails and phone calls from customers who were expecting a nightdress to appear on the website way back in the spring of 2009 – here it is……… the Freesize35 nightdress….. better late than never!
As the lounger has proved that it can be worn as a nightie, we could see no point in reinventing the wheel, so the nightie is very much the lounger in style – scooped neck, short sleeves, and wide across the hips. However, we’ve made it about four inches longer so that it drapes down round your ankles. The fabric is our famous 100gm 100% pure cotton jersey, lightweight and soft and comfortable. So - throw away that old T-shirt you’ve been using as a makeshift nightie because nobody was selling anything that you could wear comfortably in bed, your nightie awaits you at £36.95.
