About the Freesize35 range
These knickers, tights, lounger and nightie have been designed for obese people from 30stone plus. We hope to add to the range as we learn what clothing is most difficult for bariatric people to source - so please write and let us know your requirements.
In the Spring we will be introducing a size 10XL to the Cotton Panties and also Cotton Loopback leisure trousers in 9XL and 10XL. The trousers will have three lengths to cater for small, standard and people who are taller than 5'8". The patterns for these trousers are being worked right now (February 2012) and we hope to have them on the website in about six weeks time. They will have two deep pockets, a strong tape through the elasticated waistband and for women who are EXTRA tall, there will be a very generous hem on the 'tall' size so that they can be lengthened. The extra long trousers and the size 10XL panties are being introduced because of the feedback we have received from customers, nurses, doctors and carers - thank you all for your help in assisting us to bring this range of clothing together.
The Emergency Pack has been introduced because we have been contacted several times by social workers and harassed NHS hospital staff because a patient has been admitted to a ward wearing only towels, table-clothes or sheets safety-pinned together at the shoulders. Feedback suggests that the Emergency Pack has an extremely therapuetic effect on the patient - the knowledge that they are able to wear properly fitting clothes puts the person into a happier and more positive frame of mind.
